  2. Tension Setting – This one is truly unique. This ring setting gives an illusion of the center stone floating in air. Tension setting uses the metal at the sides to hold the stone securely at its place without any prongs. The tension between the metal and the stone is what hold the diamond at its place.
  3. Invisible Setting – It is another setting that is gaining much popularity in recent times. This setting places several small diamonds together and make them seem like one large diamond. Mark-Paul Gosselaar Engaged!

If you thought they don’t make that kind of men anymore, maybe you should read it further. Famous American actor, Mark-Paul Gosselaar always knew that whenever he would propose, he would do it with an engagement ring that is nothing less than perfect.

His jeweler said, “He’s a romantic at heart and he was looking to express it. I worked on creating her dream ring for about a month. She had seen a ring of mine and Mark-Paul brought in a photo of it and we started customizing it, finding the perfect stone, showing sketches, discussing the mounting and how many smaller diamonds it would have and really designing it together. It’s rare to find a guy who really wants to find the perfect ring and be so very involved in the process.”

The result of their working together was this romantic diamond engagement ring that has a fine 3-carat cushion cut diamond as the center stone. The huge rock is surrounded by smaller round diamonds and is precisely crafted in platinum. In all, the ring totals to approximately 5-carats.

And for all the ladies who dreamed of getting the most perfect engagement ring, well its time that we feel jealous of Catriona McGinn, Mark’s fiancĂ©e.
